List it, price it, and realise bookings.
Orayo lists hotels, resorts, homestays, guest houses, hostels and banquet venues, and takes prepaid direct bookings for them. You publish the rates, allocate the inventory and write the cancellation terms - the platform brings the guest and collects the money.
*Illustrative only. OTA commissions vary by channel, programme and property.
The Booking Fee is a fixed amount per booking, set by the tariff slab the booking falls in, not a percentage of every rupee. It is pinned to the booking when it is made and never recalculated afterwards.
OrayoMAX puts guest requests for your city in front of you, for stays up to four months ahead. You quote only when you have a room worth filling, and ignoring a request costs you nothing.
Nothing goes live by accident. A property becomes bookable only once every gate on its checklist is clear.
Register a single property or a whole group, and add the team members who will work on it.
Upload your identity, ownership and bank documents, and accept the Master and Commercial Agreements.
Room types and inventory - or function spaces and packages for a venue - then rate plans, tariffs and a cancellation policy.
Clear the go-live checklist and your property is bookable. Bookings and OrayoMAX requests land in the portal.
Guests search by city and dates and book your property directly, at the rates and on the policies you published.
A guest asks a city for a stay up to four months ahead. Live properties there may quote - a short, sealed auction the guest settles by paying.
A boutique hotel, a homestay, a hostel or a marriage lawn are all listed, priced and booked through the same portal. A banquet venue is sold by space, date and slot rather than by room-night, and the product knows the difference.
“You set the rate. You allocate the inventory. You write the cancellation policy.”
FAQ
What it costs, how you get paid, what you control, and what your property needs to go live.
Orayo is a direct booking platform for accommodation and banquet venues in India. Guests search, book and pay in full on Orayo. Each property sells on Gross pricing, where the property supplies the stay and issues the guest's tax invoice, or Net pricing, where Orayo resells the room at the property's net rate plus its fee and issues the guest's tax invoice.
There is no percentage commission on every rupee. Orayo charges a Booking Fee - a fixed amount per booking, determined by the tariff slab the booking falls in. The slab table in force forms part of your Commercial Agreement, and the fee is pinned to each booking when it is made, so a later revision never restates an old booking.
Guests pay Orayo in full at the time of booking, and Orayo settles to the property after deducting the applicable Booking Fee and GST. Settlement is handled outside the platform at present: KYC records your bank account details, but no automated payout account is created in the portal.
It depends on your pricing model, which Orayo sets when it approves your go-live and which can't change afterwards. On Gross pricing you issue the guest's tax invoice; Orayo sends the guest a payment receipt and issues you a separate tax invoice for the Booking Fee and its GST. On Net pricing Orayo resells the room, so Orayo issues the guest's tax invoice and you invoice Orayo for your net rate - there is no separate Booking Fee invoice.
Yes. You define room types, allocate the inventory you want Orayo to sell, publish rate plans and tariffs by date range, and attach a cancellation policy whose free window and tiers you choose. Cancellation windows count back from check-in, and where a guest falls inside more than one, the tightest applies.
OrayoMax is Orayo’s enhanced property participation program that enables properties to respond to specific stay requirements raised by travellers with their best available rates, inclusions and other value-added benefits. It is a time-bound, requirement-based process: a traveller raises a specific stay requirement, and participating properties can review the requirement and respond with an offer that best suits the traveller’s needs. This creates an opportunity for properties to offer greater value to guests while also utilising available inventory that might otherwise remain unoccupied.
There is no separate enrolment or additional step. OrayoMax access is provided to eligible properties as part of their enrolment on the Orayo platform. Once enrolled, the property can participate in relevant OrayoMax requirements through the property portal.
It can never go above it: every quote is capped at the cheapest per-night price a guest could already book that room category at over those dates. How far below that you go is entirely your decision, and a room category with no active rate plan cannot be quoted at all.
An accepted Master and Commercial Agreement, completed KYC, at least one room type with inventory and an active rate plan, a cancellation policy, the required photographs, and a listing-completeness score above the threshold. The go-live checklist in the portal shows exactly which gates are still outstanding.
Yes. A banquet venue is listed by function space rather than by room: capacity per seating style, availability by date and slot, packages, per-plate or rental pricing, food menus, and the venue rules guests filter on. A hall attached to a hotel is registered as its own property linked to the hotel, and is gated for go-live on its own.
Yes. Members are scoped to the properties they work on, and roles differ in what they can see. Someone whose role is limited to pricing can set rates but cannot open bookings or see any guest's name, email or phone.
The booking is created in a pending state and holds your inventory while payment is attempted. It confirms only when the payment captures; an unpaid hold expires on its own and releases the rooms. A pending booking never exposes the guest's contact details to the property.
